Second leg of Pakistan Fashion is in progress in Karachi. Pakistan Institute of Fashion Design and the Asian Institute of Fashion Design participated today. Students from these schools presented a myriad of designs in chiffon, leather and silk. Models played their part excellently and well presented the designs.

Fashion Week is an effort to present a softer image of Pakistan. Fashion Week Pakistan started in Musharraf era but this episode was way better than earlier versions. Few foreign designers from Malaysia, Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are also showing their works this week.

More than 5,000 Australians gathered under magnificent Opera House to pose without any piece of thread on their bodies, this installation was commissioned by the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.
Photo was captured by American artist Spence Tunick, who is famed for snapshots of mass nudity in public spaces. He was commissioned by the organisers of Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, which took place over the weekend. In his words: “Gay men and women lay naked next to their straight neighbours and this delivered a very strong message to the world that Australians embrace a free and equal society”.
Organizers were expecting audience to be half of the size that showed up. There were all types of people in the composition of models. It included a pregnant woman, who went straight to hospital afterwards to give birth, and a television weatherman whose forecasts were more than usual. A

Yes! Ferrari 599 Hybrid is for real. Several images of upcoming concept car Ferrrari 599 Hybrid have been leaked out online before the official debut of the car next week at the Geneva Auto Show. The photos have been taken at automaker’s stand at Geneva Auto Show, where the car is geared up for its first look on Tuesday.

Although we cannot be certain about this leakage until we at least hear what Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo says in Geneva. As of Ferrari’s reputation of building amazing cars, this could be an impressive having electrically charged kit in 599.

It is not clear if the Ferrari will use the hybrid system alone to power the car, but rumors have suggested that it could help the auto start/stop Engine button to reduce the fuel consumption and at low speed. Soon we will find out what exactly are all these fusses about.
