Multi-Oscar winner Sean Penn who is famous for problems with paparazzi as much as he is famous for his top class acting. He has been charged with camera break and nice kick to a photographer in lose angeles on Friday.
Penn 49, will be arraigned March 22 on the two misdemeanor charges,He repeatedly kicked a photographer, and also breaking the photographer’s camera,” said Frank Mateljan, a spokesman for the office.If convicted he could face up to 18 months in prison.
The incident was recorded on a video and broadcasted on TMZ.com website.
Penn has several occasions where he has shown his repulsion at the paparazzi. The actor-director, who won best actor Oscars for “Milk” and “Mystic River,” is well known for his hatred over paparazzi from the days of his youth. Penn assaulted two photographers in Nashville, Tenn., in 1987 and received a suspended sentence after pleading no contest.
He was also fined $1,700 and was on one year probation after punching a songwriter at a Silver Lake nightclub because he thought the songwriter kissed Madonna, his Wife at the time.
