It was said by many people that the new iPhone would be named iPhone 4G but apple has its name iPhone 4, announced on 7th June.

The new iPhone 4 will be available in stores on 24th June but nothing to be panic about as you could place your pre order after 15th June. It is very much the same as we excepted through the very early leek of iPhone 4 devices. It will come in 16gb and 32gb version with two color white and black choices. It is packed with LED flash on back camera with 720p up to 30 frames per second with audio video shooting and editing features, VGA front camera, 960*640 pixel resolution at 326 ppi which they call Retina Display, Wi-Fi and other features. Apple has decided to pull the plug on most of adult-themed apps. Thousand of such apps have been removed from Apple’s appstore since Friday. Apple mentioned in its official statement that decision has been taken after users’ complaints.
In an interview with New York Times Apple’s senior vice president of product marketing, Phill Schiller, said “It came to the point where were were getting customer complaints from women who found the content getting too degrading and objectionable, as well as parents who were upset with what their kids were able to see”.
This ban has infuriated developers of such applications. They have accused Apple of “experimenting with the livelihood”. It just demonstrates Apple’s hold and authority of Apple on applications eco-system. It is not ready to loose any control and this act leaves no confusion in it.  According to some analysts Apple appeared to be trying to ensure that the App Store would not scare off potential customers as its products become more mainstream. iPad launch can be a factor behind this action as well.
But the criteria to ban a particular application is something that has been under a lot of criticism.  Apple has not completely removed all sex-tinged apps from its store. For instance, a famous app by Playboy is still there and It is going to benefit most from this ban. Apple explanation for leaving some of the apps behind is also very interesting. According to Phill, Apple took into consideration companies earlier presence as well as whether they had “previously published material”. In other words, if you are into sex-related business then you can do it on iPhone as well.

Sports Illustrated got lucky

Then there are few companies like on the go girls. One of their apps Dirty Fingers was banned while another application with similar content Sports Illustrate got off the hook. My guess Dirty Fingers got shot down because of its name. Other well known victims of this purge are: SlideHer, Sexy Scratch Off. You may remember these names from most-downloaded apps list.
