Victory celebrations out of hand

Canada’s ice hockey women partied hard after there third consecutive victory in Olympics. They beat US team by a score of 2-0. Team took to ice after the medal ceremony loaded with champagne, beers and cigars.
Teams have been known to celebrate this way  but Girls’ excessive celebrations made the highlights today. Team members wearing their gold medals and uniforms, returned to the ice long after spectators had left Canada Hockey Place. They partied for nearly 30 minutes, drinking beer, smoking cigars and laying stretched. They joked with photographers and cleaning staff. Couple of them tried to start resurfacing machine but then did not pursue it any further.
Hockey Canada issued a statement saying it did not condone such behavior and apologized if their players’ celebrations had offended anyone. ”The members of Team Canada apologize if their on-ice celebrations, after fans had left the building, have offended anyone,” said the statement. ”In the excitement of the moment, the celebration left the confines of our dressing room and shouldn’t have.”

In another devleopment, YuNa Kim built on her last performance to win figure skating gold for South Korea. “Queen” scored 228.56 points and shattered her previous world record by more than 18 points.
