World’s first full LED 3D TV by LG

Avatar fans get ready to experience the power of 3D as LG has just announced this Thursday 25th march that its upcoming HDTV LX9500 will be the world’s first HDTV that will combine a fully-LED-backlit LCD with 3D support.

Recently leaked documents revealed the entire Blu-ray and HDTV roadmap of LG’s plan coming year now confirmed the new 3D LED TV for spring season and will ship in 2nd week of May. LG hasn’t outlined any exact release dates beyond its CES announcements.

The LX9500 will come in two models, the 47 inches and one larger screen size of 55 inches. Both the models has thin side and 1080p LED along with other features, including USB 2.0, HDMI, integrated Skype software and 3D support.

You would require to wear USB-powered glasses that should arrive in Korea within next month. The whole plan of launching soon is to beat the rival Samsung in the market. It will be available in Europe and the US this May.
